Frosty the Snowman

Jason, Ryan & Elizabeth
make their first snowman
without ANY help.

One of my
all-time
favorite
photos!

You have to LOVE
the moon boots
(or moo boots
according to Elizabeth -
she claims we didn't speak clearly :).
She also thought that,
when we had
'snow on the benches',
the weather people
went to the parks and
measured 'snow on the benches'
with their rulers and
reported it on the news.
Don't you love children's
view of the world!

I remember MOON BOOTS! Oh, how I hated wearing them. That photograph is such a keepsake.

Fun memories!!! NOW I have a pair of those moonboots! They work!

When I was the age of Liz, Ryan, and Jason, (back in the 50's!) we only had golashes...that needed at least 10 pairs of socks inside to keep our feet from freezing off when our dad took us sleighriding!

My fondest (???) memory was when Steve tromped through the mud out back, and when I told him to clean them off....he washed them with the hose...then put them in the DRYER!!!!! :(

The thudding alerted me to a problem....which Steve was oblivious to!!
